With 7-second accuracy, the Topcon DT-207 Digital Theodolite has an integrated advanced absolute encoder for accurate angle calculations. Its high quality telescope features 30x magnification, 2.5-inch resolving power and three feet minimum focus distance for measuring tight areas and viewing crystal clear images of target points.
Absolute Reading Technology
Built-in absolute encoder uses advanced algorithm and digital sampling technology that enable construction professionals to start taking measurements as soon as the theodolite is turned on. This technology restores the azimuth after the instrument’s power is cut off, reducing power consumption and improves reliability of angle measurements.
The DT207 comes with a detachable tribrach with bubble vial and a built-in optical plummet for precise positioning and leveling of the instrument on the jobsite.
Dual Display and Reticle Illumination
With two large and high contrast LCDs, five-button keypad and reticle illuminator, this optical instrument provides surveyors with a simple interface to take precise horizontal and vertical angle measurements in low light conditions, such as working inside buildings, tunnels or mines.
Impressive Battery Life
The DT-207 digital theodolite has an IP-66 rating for dust and water protection, allowing for a more productive surveying during inclement weather. Compact and lightweight, it also offers up to 150 hours of continuous measurement in angle mode using four standard AA alkaline batteries.
